About Resonant Communication Systems

Resonant Communication Systems is a California State C-7 Licensed Low Voltage company, Lic. #640395, owned and operated as a sole proprietorship. Scott Tracy founded Audio Vision located in Santa Cruz and Scotts Valley California from 1989 - 1995. After a stint with EIS in Mountain View, California, he served as Director of Operations for Trimension Systems and co-founded the US operation in Santa Cruz, California. Scott then went on to found Tracy Design and in his role provided design and project management services to local Bay Area AV companies.

After a brief hiatus due health considerations, Scott now brings all his knowledge to bear in creating Resonant Communication Systems. RCS builds on the experience Scott has attained in the global commercial AV industry where Scott helped pioneer edge blended, geometrically correct three dimensional curved screen interactive display systems, bringing them to industries such as digital signage, neuroscience, oil and gas, US armed forces and theme parks.

Scott studied Electronic Engineering at Cabrillo College in Soquel, California in the 90's and has earned numerous industry display, network and professional audio certifications besides being involved in the design and realization of many showcase venues the world over. RCS is always looking for ways to help streamline your business' operations with AV technology thereby strengthening your business case with observable returns on your company's capital investment.

Professional, honest and reliable

Lifelike visuals and crystal clear audio are the essential ingredients in any communication system. Precision design specification and intimate application knowledge  provide a system capable of delivering messages that RESONATE with your audience, no matter whether they are remote, right before you or both. Interaction, processing speeds and control are important features that enhance and streamline the audience's experience. Lighting and acoustics help optimize the visual and sonic environment.

Resonant Communication Systems bring all these to bear on a given design through careful consultation with the owner, general contractor and architect. We take pride in our work and guarantee our clients will be fully satisfied. In over 30 years of global integration and design, the RCS state license has not had one complaint, and that is symbolic of our commitment to you, the client.

We will never leave you wondering because we live by the very resonant communication we deliver to you through our AV technologies. The construction process is sacred to us and we will never let you down like other companies and are always prompt, reliable and cheerful.

OUR TECHNICAL FOCUS

Life Safety

The need for centralized life safety such as Emergency Operation Centers on a more localized basis has grown with climate change, the withdrawl of federal funding for scientific monitoring and research like the NWS and security challenges. Typically the largest cities acquire such a system as a means of responding preemptively and efficiently to urgent threats such as public health emergencies, tsunamis, wildfires and firestorms, flash floods, mudslides, crime, violence, earthquakes, domestic terrorism, multiple casualty vehicular accidents, red flag warnings, protests and acts of foreign and domestic terrorism.

Acoustic Analysis

Proper room acoustics is where optimized audio all begins. RCS offers a free walkthrough of your space to observe and notate the current acoustic environment and offer an Acoustic Impact Report. Using state of art test and measurement devices and software RCS can determine optimized loudspeaker and acoustic treatment placement options. We understand that acoustic treatments need to be coordinated with the aesthetic needs of the space. We also design acoustical isolation systems for new construction and sound isolation and masking systems.

Smart Sensors

We live in an era that makes it  far more critical to receive real time feedback alerting us to the presence of threats to the health of those whom we are obligated to protect. Smart sensing provides the ability to respond rapidly to toxic and deadly changes in the air quality index, gunshots,  illegal drug use, danger keywords, general aggression and to keep tabs on occupancy data. A Cloud management and storage dashboard provides role based mapping, real time alert notifications with configurable alerts, analytics, reporting and logging capabilities.

AVoIP

AVoIP is an acronym for AudioVisual over Internet Protocol, a purely digital method of transporting audio, video and control data  without presenting further strain on an existing building wide Ethernet while allowing for a more scalable, flexible, reliable, affordable and optically and sonically superior system.  The basic building blocks included AV encoders and decoders and a Ethernet switch(s).

Pro Audio

RCS has years of experience designing and installing professional loudspeakers and loudspeaker arrays for a variety of venues such as auditoriums and sporting venues. We understand the unique challenge and liability of rigging and mechanical attachment to veery type of structure.especially in a seismically vulnerable state like California. We generate acoustic energy maps to ensure coverage is ideal without wasted power that comes from misaligned loudspeakers and arrays.

Lighting

Lighting systems that treat the various AudioVisual spaces within your building with the proper lighting levels, coverage and color temperatures for the task along with proper acoustical response complete the AudioVisual environment and ensure your system will provide the audience with an unforgettable and on point AudioVisual listening and viewing experience. RCS can design and install a state of the art LED lighting systems that illuminate your brilliance.
